CUSTOM HICKORY
KITCHEN REMODEL

For this kitchen remodel, the homeowners loved the existing hickory cabinetry and didn’t want to start from scratch. Their goal was to brighten the space and improve functionality while preserving the warmth and character of the original kitchen.

CLH Construction worked with the homeowners to reimagine the layout and introduce modern design elements that would elevate the space without replacing everything.

We got to work on relocating the fridge, adding cabinetry on both sides for a built-in look and installed a wine fridge. We extended the kitchen island to create more prep space and installed white quartz countertops to brighten the kitchen. To add texture and dimension to the space, we added herringbone tile backsplash and a custom wood range hood to match the cabinetry. We then installed under-cabinet lighting to highlight the new space.

The finished result is a kitchen that feels brighter, more functional, and more modern, while still showcasing the natural beauty of the original hickory cabinetry.
